Welcome to Deaf Mama's! I'm so excited you're here. Now that you're all settled in, I'll tell you a little about our shop.

The Small Beginning

Deaf Mama's started in 2009, selling handmade quilts at the local farmer's market. Good things start small right? We still have our local stall, the vendors and management are practicly family now. 

​

In 2015 we started on our embroidery adventure, selling hooded towels and embroideried tea towels. What fun that has been!

Today

In the past few years we have been learning and growing, and learning some more, but we couldn't do it without YOU. So here's a toast to all the repeat customers, the folks that share our shop with all their friends, our cheerleaders and our mentors. Without you we wouldn't be here. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Deaf Mama Who IS?

Hi! I'm  Kristy and the owner of deaf mama's. I am a quilter, with a big love for  embroidery and whismical crafting. I made my first quilt at the age of nine and it was the ugliest thing you've ever seen. I gave up quilting until I was in my early 20's. I wanted to make keepsake quilts for my children but the quilting addiction far supprassed my my childbearing abilities, so here we are!
